SC Tablet and SC Tablet Mini is an iPad-based speech generating device, made for people of all ages with communication impairments. This durable device has a rugged, silicone case complete with crash corners and a snap-on faceplate. It is available in two sizes: SC Tablet, which includes a 10.2” iPad and SC Tablet Mini which includes an iPad mini 6. Both versions come pre-loaded with a choice of AAC apps: TD Snap for symbol-supported communicators and TD Talk for literate adults. Make your voice heard loud and clear with powerful integrated speakers. Grab the device on the go and put it down where you like thanks to a sturdy built-in stand and handle. Finger-guiding keyguards are also available to purchase separately.
In the Box
If you live in the United Kingdom, you may be eligible to receive funding for an assistive technology device for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Various funding sources exist, including the NHS, local AAC services and charitable organisations, however these vary from region to region. You can also request a quote.
All Tobii Dynavox devices in the UK come with our Manufacturer’s Warranty for two years. The SC Tablet also includes TD Care, which is an extension of the Manufacturer’s Warranty and offers an unmatched industry-wide level of protection, including unlimited accidental damage claims per year on the device itself, batteries and even chargers. Purchases and extensions of TD Care can only be made when buying the device.
